Finally, after 4 years of Balto Source and Lion King Source, I have officially opened a new site!


This site is dedicated to the TaleSpin Disney TV series, which is - in my opinion - one of the best animated series and surely the best Disney series I have ever seen.

It's clearly a series that I have always overlooked, just like all the TV series from that period. (I didn't watch that much the TV cartoons when it used to air, back in 1991 - I was more into the Disney comics books...)
I also had a wrong image of Disney series as a general way, thinking they were kiddy and sub-par compared to their animated films - well that's absolutely wrong (in TaleSpin case anyway), and I think this is due to Disney not making much efforts for their TV series, especially when compared to the treatment they give to their animated films...

So if you're in the same situation - cross the line and visit the site! The content is still light, I have many many things I'm planning to add - but it should be enough for a first version.

The site is built in a similar way than my two current sites - but runs under a (almost totally) new "engine". Yes, you may not see much difference, but believe me : I haven't spent 2 months of work on it for nothing.
TaleSpin Source has been (almost) entirely created by using the online interface I have made, and which will be used for all the future Animation Source sites.

There's still a lot to do, and normally I should have waited for everything to be OK before creating a real site - but I just couldn't wait to make it, so I decided to release this site even if a few sections are missing and the online interface for making sites isn't usable by anyone except me...(NOT everyone will be able to access it eventually though - I insist on that part, the making of sites will be strictly controled)

So you'll have to wait more time (a few months probably) before seeing other new sites made by "selected members" : I have some hard tasks to do (migrating BS and TLKS to this new engine, for example - or making a french version of TSS...), but it's definitely coming.

Another important thing : I had to reorganize the sections on the forums, because the current setting only worked for one or two sites, but won't fit when there will be more sites.

* The Roleplaying section has been renamed to "General Fan & Roleplaying"

* I have made separate Balto / TLK RPG boards and moved them to their respective sections.

* The "Other roleplaying" and "Private roleplaying" boards have been renamed to "General roleplaying" and "General Private roleplaying"

* The Fanart sub-boards (Contests, Adoptions, etc...) are moved from the Balto section to the "General Fan & Roleplaying" section.

Sorry if it's disturbing, but it's the only way to make something that will not turn out into a mess.

On a less bright note, we have learned the death of David Carradine, who was the voice of Nava in Wolf Quest.
