First off, I want to say one tiny thing about B2 WQ animation: what happend to the REAL Balto and Jenna??? They were HORRIBLY off on the design of the characters! HIRE THE ORIGINAL ANIMATORS!

B2's storyline was good, but could have done better! But, Aleu, Balto's daughter, was amazing. I loved how her tail would curl up at times! So much like Jenna, yet perfectly Balto....!Her destiny was to help lead the wolf clan. Aniu, her grandmother, was helping her all along the way. ( It was an excellent destiny; fits Aleu well!)

Aleu was the main WQ character. She is brave and determined like Balto and caring and watchful like Jenna. Her eyes are so unique! When a hunter mistakes her for a wolf, she learns the truth why a human hasn't adopted her- she's part wolf!This angers ( more just upsets) her, ans Aleu runs away! I think that was a good thing to do, but I would have tried to work it out with my dad first! I mean, it's not his fault his mother ( the great spirit, Aniu) was a wolf! I think Aleu should have thought about her dad's position before running off.

Balto's daughter finds trouble when she meets a bear. Balto arrives in the nick of time to save her. Typical 'Balto' feat, huh? It was getting regular with the 'Balto' films, except that- Aleu pushes her father off a cliff! She mysteriously knows a ledge is there! I LOVE how she can connect with the spirits and find out things to save others!

In WQ, Aleu finds herself faced with many problems, and overcomes them all. She seems like a sweet, loving pup underneath all that tough wolf exterior. ( I think she is quite pretty on the outside, come to think of it!)  Aleu is the perfect hero, in her own way. Her spiritual knowledge is incredible! This is what I admire Aleu for- her knowledge of the world. She does not know all her 'powers', but uses them absent mindidly. (for good!)

I really didn't like WQ, I think it insulted Balto. Balto was a true story......then WQ came along and well......to much magic, and imposibilities! Nava disapears into a tree? I hate it when a REAL story gets a sequel that involves magic of some sort. I like magic and stuff, but it just doesn't fit. I honestly found Aleu rather ugly, and really dumb. She seems very blank......Come on! Wouldn't Balto have told her about hunters? Safety first! What child would run out on learning on thier heritage? And in Balto 3, Dusty, she looked like Aleu! Why was she sledding? This is my opinion. Other than this, good article.

Aleu is my 3 rd favorite character (after balto then Aniu). Her qualities were great though personally I didn't like the spiritual stuff. Maybe she should have tried to work it out with Balto. But she was shocked and angry at him, and i dint really blame her. And I agree that the original animators would have done a much better job with both movies! Great article, Sheba

Wow, this article really made me see a different side of Aleu. I reckon if the movie had better animation, and they fixed up the plot a bit, not as many people would hate her.

I like Aleu, too. She was the most unique of the pups since she looks a lot like Balto, and even though Kodi's an interesting character as well, Aleu embraced her heritage a little more. If the producers make a fourth sequel, they should probably work in a subplot with Aleu

I love her character. BUT I think they could make her better! they animation's quality IS low. and what exactly are her ears' color? light grey like her body? or darker grey? or GREEN? (I really seen her ears green once.)

I like this article about Aleu. Aleu's a pretty good character, and you see her as a different character than how other people see her. They see her differently, so this was great article to read. Usually alot of people will hate her because of the animation and the way her voice is, but you see her in a great way! But I still think Kodi's better. No offence.
