In Balto 2, did you notice that Aleu's colors change?I don't have any pics but I can tell you:

When Aleu was born, she was tawny and cream colored and had an open face.
When she was eight weeks old, she had her color yet she had a bridge on her muzle. She grew up and had the same looks, but when it is half way through the movie, her fur is tan and white and she has brown ears.
Also, through out the movie, it changes from her new colors to her old colors. I think the artist is kind of lazy. I don't know.

Yeah, partialy correct... dogs' colors change as they age. They get darker, then lighter again. But I really don't know why they would just drop the work and transform characters. It gets annoying!!°x° :! :P lol

Yes, I noticed that myself...I also discovered (after surfing through some pics of Aleu) that her ears go from being the same color as her body to a darker brown, like Balto's. I think the artist just didn't pay very close attention to his/her work.:/: Very nice article!:P

Of no doubt about it that the animator was lazy. All of them were when making that movie and that's a fact (read my article called Changes in Balto animation style for more info)

I initially thought Aleu's light ears in the hunter scene were a blooper, and there's a chance they were, but because they were that colour throughout the scene, I now think she just changed with age. Though, IMO, she looked better with light ears. Otherwise she looked too similar to Balto.

This is just because of her aging. The artists are, actually, not lazy at that one.
