In WQ, which we all no the animators were lazy, there is a picture where Aleu's ears are not a darker color heres the picture of it.

Even if the ears are darkened because the sun is setting in the second scene, that doesn't explain why the back fur is still the same shade. Nice job.

I thought it was a sign maturity. or just growing older. Because when she's a pup, she has a husky design. Then it changes. Pretty dumb movie, animators, and plot.

The reason for Aleu's ear change is,because of her reply to Balto's question,how did you get so stubborn,I mean let's face it,Aleu did take after Balto.
