After watching Balto III: Wolf Quest the first time, the question of where Aleu took the clan at the end poped into my head. After watching it a few more times, I decided to try and figure it out myself since I figured the producers would never say.
After a little bit of reserch, I came to the conculsion that the only place they could have gone was to Russia. It was the only logical place there is that they could have gone to.

If the picture above you can see Nome clearly marked on the map. Along with it is what I've guessed Aleu and Balto's trail was over. You can (kind of) see a river along that path, too.
Along with that, I have marked the probable path that Aleu led the clan through the Bering Strait.
So there is my reasoning as to why I think Aleu led the clan to Russia in the end.

Very logical theory. I thought it once too, but the only thing that gets me is this: if they were headed NORTH wouldn't the ocean be seen on the LEFT (the west) side of the screen and not the RIGHT (the east) side of the screen? |

i myself have fooled around with maps, plotting out where i think they could have gone. it's kinda fun isn't it?
great article!

grrrrreat!! article |

This is a very good article, and very logical. And as TikTac had mentioned, the animators probably didn't have much of an idea WHERE they were leading Alue, nor did they probably care. But indeed, they probably DID end up in Russia. |

Cat--> Thanks. ^^ That did occur to me when I was making this, but given how many other bloopers were in WQ they probably would have messed it up. XD Writewolf--> haha! It was fun! And thank you. ^^ Tala--> Thank you very much. ^^ TikTac--> That's exactly what I had been thinking when I decided to do an article on this! xD And yeah. xD. They probably can't tell any of those things. Maya-->Thanks! haha. They probably DIDN'T have any clue as to where Alue was headed. Lol. That's just so wonderful for them. haha Baltofan000--> Thank 'ya. ^^ |

Yeah, you're very right XD I doubt they made a note of that. The entire journey would've been possible IF the entire eastern side of Alaska were a penninsula. But its not. So once again, the makers of Balto 2 show how their mind works. Or rather, NOT works. |

Well, to Russia, eh? Yes, I mean, this is great article and I think it is possible. But to Russia
Oh, never mind, I haven't got anything against Russia xD |

In one of my fanfics I made Aleu and her pack go to the Aleutian Islands, but that was only because it seemed nigh impossible to journey back from Russia! But, Russia is the logical place they would go. Hey, maybe Aleu will see some of Boris's relatives!

Yes, it really true because my brother said by the first time we see Balto III WoC he say's "Alue can't be in this film, because se gone to Russia." and this could be interesting because the film play's in 1926 and then is Russia the Soviet Union. |

Very possible... although I don't think that it would be too easy to find somewhere where ice blocks line up in a perfect line accross the Bering Strait. I mean, in actuality, it's about 116 miles from that part of Alaska to the closest point on Russia. But then again, whoever says movies have to be realistic? |

I've thought about that at first... but then I figured they probubly went south & crossed the large bay... but I'm probubly wrong XD |

i doubt that. the ice bridge was too short to stretch from Alaska to Russia, and also Nome has a few islands close to it. |
