OK, we all know about WQ, but what about Balto1?

Here's a few pictures:

See what I mean? Of course, to get the right effect they needed to do certain shaped pictures, but that isn't always the case. I suppose no film is truly perfect.

So, it just goes to show that it isn't just WQ that has it's flawes, but the original film itself.

Actually they are all supposed to be like that. But your right I do not understand the no-teeth problem in a few pics!

I think the no-teeth problem is because teeth are often left out to soften the emotion of a character.

1st pic: it's the lightings. the base color is still the same, but with different times the lights are defferent. 2nd: Steele has "tiny pupils" in that scene because the animaters want him to look "evil". 3rd: that might not be a coincidence. 4th: it would look weird if he showed his teeth in that position. 5th: it looks okay when it's "animated". 6th: Jenna would look SO wierd if her teeth shoed in that position. and Steele's eyes are narrowed. so his "tiny pupils" weren't shown. I'm not trying to offence you. Balto1 has it's Bloopers, but the ones you picked are just not. try looking up in the forums. there are hundreds of Balto Bloopers there.

There are infinitely many errors and mistakes and awkward things in ANYTHING animated, if you look hard enough...that's to be expected, of course. Then again, not all of them are necessarily really mistakes. I pretty much agree w/ Drawolf too. Good effort but I hardly see most of these as "disasters" or even mistakes worth noting...

Sorry but I agree whith drawolf most of these "bloopers" would look wierd whith out the bloopers. Plus Balto 2 and 3 were much worse.

Interesting. But Steele's pupils are souposed to be small, small pupils mak thinks look, well, evil. If they were big, he would look more like a good guy.

well then, if you're not going to listen to what people would say about your work, then why did you post it? I just want to say that I disgree with you. those images you dug out aren't mistakes. they're supposed to be like that. All I've said is : They are not "disasters" they're perfectly fine. and yes, nothing is perfect. nor do Balto1. but there are greater mistakes in the film that you should have picked, but you didn't, and picked those "not-a-mistake" images instead. if you have something to say to me you can PM me. I'd be gladly to talk.

I agree with black diamond wolf.The reason Jenna looked wierd in that one pic really was to give more expresion,Steele has tiny pupils to make him have a strong and fierce look in his eyes.And last when Jenna's fur color changed that was becuase in one part of the scene the Jenna was in a darker background.But nothing in a movie can possibly be as perfect as you expect it to be.

So polite criticism is not allowed? "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all" is generally a good rule, but when you post online, much of the time you can rightfully expect some people not to agree with you and to explain why. That's perfectly legit! Comments do not have to praise or be in agreement with the article. I believe you're totally missing the point of these articles, part of which is to let others share their thoughts on and discuss what you've presented--otherwise you may as well just show them only to yourself. How pointless would it be if the only comments anyone ever got were "I totally agree!" and such?! It's unrealistic to expect only positive remarks. I don't think any of them have been rude--there's a big difference between being mean (not cool) and disagreeing (completely cool, if you have good reasons.) Doesn't make one right and one wrong, it's just the way things are--varying opinions. ANYway, I'm with Drawolf 100%.

I did not say that to make you delete all those thing "that you think is hard work". I was trying to do this as polite as I can. I'm a teenager, and I have my emotions, too. I see you're being very childish. what's with the triple posting? okay, you said you're not very old, SO AM I!!! what part of my eariler post is harsh? I tried to stay calm, but I'm a bit angry now. Okay, I'm going to do this all over again. Jenna's inner ear isn't the same color all the time because in the 1st shot, she wasn't facing the light source. in the smaller shot she was facing directly at the light source. I'm an artist I konw! Balto's teeth isn't visible in that position. If I were the animaters I wouldn't put his teeth in that screen shot either. his inside mouth were pretty small and remember, this is an old film, everything has to be hand drawn. and the shot were last only 1 frame so it doesn't matter. Jenna's teeth weren't drawn in that image because she wasn't snarling. If you don't understand what I'm trying to say here then try draw her some teeth. she would look like she was snarling at Steele. Steele's "tiny iris" wasn't visible because his eyes were narrowed. oh, and thank you everybody for agreeing with me.

Natticat is right. And, as in the ear color problem, Jenna is turning away in the 1st picture, and that would cause the ears to be dark with shadow.

(about Jenna's ears) yeah, but pink is a light shade of red, where-as brown is a dark shade of orange.
