I read something on the forums that there was a Balto that acted very similar to the one we have here. Some say it's plagarism, others don't agree. This Balto is own by Dingo Pictures, a German company. Here's the site where you can see the trailer of the 'Balto' that Dingo Pictures had made.

As anyways, the husky you have seen that fell off the cliff is Kemo (NOT KOMO). He is Balto's 'enemy', and he looks very similar like Steele. The clip I have given you to watch on youtube as I said acted very similar to the one in Universal's. Steele falls off the cliff, Kemo falls off the cliff. Balto hangs his head over, so does the other horrible animation does. The only difference is that I don't think the two dogs were fighting for medicine to save the children of Nome. Also, I found another site where it shows the 'cheap' Balto animation. The site is in German, but if you type in Balto World on google, there would be 'Translate page' on top of the summary of the site.

Yeah, look at those covers. If you scroll down to the bottom of the screen, you can see the screen shots. (The only thing I really dismayed about the screen shots is that they made the wolves look evil!)

Does anything look familar in the screenshots? The race between the town's dogs, the polar bear, Kemo growling at Balto.... oh, I forgot to mention. In the Dingo Pictures movie of Balto, they too made the 'cheap' Balto have a girlfriend. Her name is Judy, and she is that grey, scruffy dog in the two screenshots. Judy... Jenna, both start with J's, and that kind of stumbles me.

In fact, all of these cover copies are the same movie. Just with different Balto designs.

So, do you think Dingo Pictures coppy Universal? Is this plagarism? Do you think this thirty minute, adventure, little kid movie is worth watching? What do you think?
