Okay, I don't think that the dogs have the right names, here's why:

When I watched the Balto 1 trailer, it showed the brown dog and orange dog and the guy who was narrating the trailer was introducting some of the charaters and he said while they were featured 'Kaltag and Star'. So I though that the gray one was Nikki.

Then when I watched Balto 1 in subtitles, the brown dog spoke, yet he was off-screen, it said in parentheses Kaltag then the sentence he said.
So then I knew that ment the orange one is Star.
Write comments to me once you read this article A.S.A.P! I would like some responses please and thank you.

There have been some talks about that, some time ago on the forums. And no, we do use the right names : Star is the purple one, Kaltag the orange one and Nikki the brown one. How do we know? Because on official artworks, there is the names of the characters. They just made an error in the trailer.

well technically its either they made a mistake or someone made an artwork and everyone got off on the wrong idea.plus when the musher calls for Nikki,Kaltag,and Star it confuses me.
