Why are those 3 dogs behind Steele so diffrent from Star, Nikki, and Kaltag? One is Blue? And why is Jenna brown? And Steele doesn't look like Steele.

Look at the 2nd dog behind Steele. Its blue and looks nothing like Nikki. Steele doesn't look nothing like Steele and why is Jenna brown? Boris has orange feet and beak in the movie there yellow on the case. Other than that, Muk, Luk, Balto and scenery look nice.

The people who make these covers don't really care for getting the colour right. It might also be that they haven't really seen the movie. I am not really sure, but alot of times this happens, and I know. XD I don't really like it, but thats how it is.

There seems to be an even bigger goof that you guys are missing: the box says the movie is a true story. As far as I know, the only thing accurate is the epidemic.

the people who make the covers probably havent seen the movie!!!! jenna is an amber-brown in the movie not red!so they made her brown on the cover probably because the lack of that ink color boris has yellow feet on the cover probably for the same reason as jenna....the dog is blue because it is far away and in the shade and as u can see some of the other dogs are part blue cuz of that reason too...

Wow..... I have noticed that time and time again, but thd thing that REALLY bugs me is making Nikki BLUE!!!!!!OMG! It makes the movie look SOOOOO CHILDISH!!! I mean, what other type of move other than a little kid movie would have a BLUE dog in it??? I am with Stone Paw because the VHS cover truly shows the movie as becoming a classic, and it displays the movie as insparational and heartwarming.... that's how it should be. (I think they made those mistakes to the DVD cover so it would appear more " modern", which it does, and to make it look newer and to appeal to more people. And one more thing-- who ever made the DVD cover, ( like steet said,) IT'S NOT A TRUE STORY, JUST BASED ON ONE!!!!!!!!

Its artwork, not many artist do the same animation as they do in the movie. For an example they might have a movie on Adam Sandler on click for the real box art. They might make an artwork showing Chuck Norris ect. hope you catch the drift

well, at least they actually made it a DVD, they could've just left it as a VHS, and I like the newer one better, except for Balto ears are the same as his head color and etc.
