Ok has any one seen Lady and the Tramp? I did, and I noticed a few similararities:

1 Both main character (Balto and Tramp) are potrayed (said) to be mutts

2. Balto and Tramp meet a girl who is more pampered (Jenna and Lady)

3. Both become fathers of their mates puppies (Balto- Alue, then later Kodi; Tramp- Scamp)

4. One of their children take their look (Balto- Alue; Tramp- Scamp)

5. Both  impressed their mate to be with something nice (Balto impressed Jenna first by the replica of the Northern Lights, and then bringing in the medicine; Tramp impressed Lady by a romantic dinner and some other stuff)

6. Alue and Scamp are both active as pups.

i've always noticed that one other thing is they always have simlar story lines i.e in balto and the lady and the tramp both the males are unwanted outsiders and both the females are made to look glamourous but there is always a struggle for the the male to impress the girls

Wow, that is really something. Way to go! But I think you left something out. Both Jenna and Lady are pure-breds. (Unless that's what 'pampered' means). I think also, Balto is a sort of a greyish color, so is Tramp, although Tramp it most definately grey and Balto is sort of grey, or brown.

I think the one big difference from just Balto and Tramp as characters is this. Tramp is clearly made as a player, getting many female dogs and people homes in his life. Only when he meets Lady does he want to change his ways. Balto on the other hand lives alone and never had either until he meets Jenna. Balto is a hybrid wolf while Tramp is a mutt. Yes, both mixed but Balto has more wild in him. I also think Balto is more of an outcast then Tramp. Plot is pretty close, but all Tramp really does is kill a rat. One thing thats commen with the sequels (Balto3, L&T 2) is that they are both portrayed as legends.
