I was watching Balto 1 and observed, and I saw something very, very wierd. Here, I'll show you... 

When he sees the "Northen Lights", he jumps in joy and is flying! I then paused it, and then looked at the other dogs and they were just normally running!

Seriously! You! Can see it for your self!

i've noticed that SO many times before. as a kid i tried to be able to jump that long but was never able to do it. i then watched other people and soon found it was not physically possible to be able to jump that long and far. it is kinda weird but then again it's a movie so they make him do whatever they want good article

He had a low trajectory when he jumped, so he kept his speed, and went a further distance then if he was to jump at a steeper angle. It's like throwing a ball, if you throw a ball at your hardest at 45 degrees, it'll go further then if you threw a ball at 80 degrees at your hardest.
