Balto - Analysis

Why Balto's dreams are different throught the series

Flare :

Well here is my difference in Balto's dream that puts him out of character throughout the unnessciary films.

Balto one-Balto wishes that he could someday be a sled dog and prove Steele wrong about beging half wolf. Balto also wants to show people that even a wolfdog like him, can fullfill there dreams.

Balto two- Balto keeps having nightmares about his mother trying to communicate with him finding out where his daughter needs to be in the world. His goal in the second movei was too help Aleu find a home but to also find out where she belongs.

Balto three-However this movie made Balto go WAY out of his character. Like I says in the first movie, he ONLY wants to be a sled dog, not wanting to fly the skies. I know it gets confusing about Balto having different goals and dreams but is main dream was to BE A SLED DOG!

P.S.: Any thoughts about Balto being way out of character?I thought that I might point this out. This seems interesting to me but I'm not sure if anybody here already made this up.

Yes he is wayyy out of character, it seemed in balto 1 he was the best though...the original. He had alot of spirit and was a hero, in B2 he was just a father not a sled dog, yet in 3 he was old and just wanted to fly...which in turn was pretty boring...Balto was a hero. He didnt seem like a her in either of the later movies, i hated that

That's why I just stuck to the original. I gave the 2nd movie a chance but I couldn't even stand it D:

You ave missed the point f his desire to fly.Part of Balto's personality is his deep-seated urge to reach for a higher goal. To constantly push onward, to seek great new things.

How can Balto's dreams in WoC be out of character? It's not like he wanted to be a pilot, which to be honest, I can't see actually happening.

well, it's not his fault that he had nightmares in WQ.
but I totally agree that in WOC he's totally out of character!!

I think he was the worst in WQ - overprotective father mode. >
