Changes in Balto's eyes in Balto 2: Wolf Quest

Whenever a sequal is made to a original movie many changes are made to the characters in the next movie.

Many might've seen the changes along with me but I'll post the changes where Balto's seemed to changed in Balto 2.

In the dream scenes it seems that Balto's are blue instead of the regular redish-orange. And the animaters might've forgotten the yellowish background of Balto's eyes.

Then here is another scene where its day light and he's walking around and talking. Take a look at his eyes. They are not blue any more but his normal redish-orange. But he is still missing his yellow part of his eyes.

The blue tint could be due to lighting. Sometimes lighting can have an effect on eyes. I'd check into that. The yellow part..probably laziness on the animator's part...

I also think the blue eyes was more an effect; as for the missing yellow, I think they did that on purpose, to make Aleu look "even more wolf" than Balto.

Hum...maybe it is the light that cases his eyes to change. But I would have never noticed that.

Maby they are suposed to look blue in the dreams....Because the main back ground colors in the dreams are blue and purple.....and it is a dream.

The reason for the blue eyes is beacause it's dark instead of light. By the way there is no other difference besides that.;)

Balto's eye pigmentation most likley changed due to the lighting in Picture 4 and 5. In 4, his eyes appear to be all black and white while in five it appears to be a blue tinted pigment. Also, as an example of this lighting, his nose in picture 5 appears to be brown. Personally, I prefer the blue. ^^

The "blue-eyed Balto" is the backgrounds fault......it changed the eye color by being blue.........the eyes are reflecting the color of the background:allears:

Actually, this all has to do with lighting, it just proves that the animators are alot better than we think they are.

I noticed that too but in B2 the yellowness in Balto's eyes are just lighter. Besides, it's kind of tradition that when multiple sequels are made to a classic movie, not all of them will be good. B1 is still the best.
