But this is meant to be Kaltag. It's probably that the one who did the coloring didn't really know how he looked like, so he messed up with the colors. Remember the yellow Kodi on the old cover for Balto 3...

Yes, I did notice those dogs in the movie but I didn't notice Sylvie and Nikki but the others I saw. I had to watch it again to notice it though. The screen moves pretty fast..lol Good eye Steet.

Wow. I thought they got rid of all the supporting characters except Boris and Muk and Luk. I thought they could have done better using the original ones in cameos. All of them either looked different or like crap! You guys ever wonder what happened to Steele?:! If there is going to be a fourth Balto at least have the trio in it; I loved Star! "He's no lap-dog!"lol Priceless! Oh, yeah I hope they bring back Rosie with a bigger part this time. Nice Aleu Cameo; I liked that!:cool:

Orignally, when I saw Balto 3, I thought it was Kaltag, but then as the film went on I noticed a ginger dog almost identical to Kaltag, on Kodi's/Balto's team. We runs at the back, behind Dusty. Watch out for him next time you watch the film!

Umh in the last picture you say its Kaltagg but i think not. Beacuse Kaltagg got a dark spot on his eye in the first balto movie, but here he don't have.:)

:cool: great finds Steet, I spotted 'em all. Kaltag is Kaltag just the artists made a mistake, it's annoying, some people should say "that isn't Jenna cos she has darker fur!" in B2 if they really think THAT! Grrr, Bu anyway, I saw Star and all that and the scottie from B2. Saw 'em all apart from Star in the first pic..... lol but good finds anyways, and glad to see screen shots up though! :)

I know this may seem like a crazy question (and may even be a little off-subject) but where had Steele disappeared to? After the door closes and locks him inside of the boiler room (first movie), you see no more of him! Did he and his master move out of town or something? Or is he more or less a background character now?

This rocks, since I missed...most of these, LOL. I only saw WoC once, on YouTube. The quality wasn't so hot. Anyways, Kaltag does look very different, but it must be the animators. I would assume it is supposed to be him. Doc, Morse, Rosie, and most of the others are unmistakable.

In the first pic, the wheaten Scottie is in the upper right-hand corner. Star hardly looks like himself. O.o And sure enough there's my Sylvie! Gee, I wish they'd included more than just the back of her. Oh, well. She looks pretty good...but kind of weird...must just be those animators again. I doubt they cared too much about that one little shot.

In the Star/Nikki pic, that small dog MIGHT be Dixie. I'm thinking not, though. Even if we assume she had her formerly part-lilac fur dyed a completely off-white/light cream color, I don't think it really looks like her. Sorta, pretty close, but not reaally. It was probably based on her. Of course I could tell if the drawing was close-up, but it isn't.

Nice to see them refer to the old chars, at least.
