To describe the scene: Star is taking off Steele's collar and gave it to Balto, just like Sierra said. I'm curious . . . if this scene was originally supposed to be in the film, I wonder: what was put in its place, where this scene would have originally been, and why did they cut it? To me, this sounds like a powerful scene . . . I mean, the "underling" Star giving Steele's collar to Balto like that. An interesting character development and a huge show of his respect for Balto, if you ask me. :)

This should have been in the movie, the fact that the coward of the group worked up the courage to rip off the collar shows how bad of a leader Steele is.

I've seen this before. I think it's the part when Steele gets lost then Balto finds the team. Star does say this " maybe we should listen to him" and after the fight he offers balto to be lead dog to lead them home. So, maybe in the out take Star gets mad at Steele for not letting Balto help so he yanks off Steele's collar to show Steele that he is not the leader anymore. I hope that all sounds clear.

Maybe they had the team enter the place where Steele told his story after they returned from their journey and told the group what really happened? Thats the other part I was thinking that happened... otherwise, I really don't know where they are.
