It seems that Balto has different coat patterns than his wife and kids.The info is right here:

Balto has a mask and he has socks, you know when the light pattern of a dog has on it's front legs and it stops at the ankles. While Jenna, Aleu, and Kodi all have stockings when the dogs light color on it's legs reach to it's elbows
Also, Balto and Aleu have bridges on their noses while Kodi and Jenna have open faces (even though Kodi has that clear bridge/spot like thing on his nose).

Now on to the eyes, every one has brown eyes, except Aleu, she has blue eyes. And, Balto and Aleu has yellow eyes and Jenna and Kodi have white eyes.
I know that two of them are wolves and two of them are dogs. But..whatever.

P.S., Sorry if I don't have any pics, I could not get them on there. It's a long story, but you will have to see for yourself.

Lonestar: It's possible for 2 brown-eyed parents to have blue-eyed kids. Every person (or dog) has genetic coding with an unimaginable number of varieties for eye color, and every person (dog) has a gene for blue eyes, and brown eyes, and green eyes, etc. The genes that are turned on become the person's (dog's) eye color, but if the person/dog has brown eyes, the blue eye color is still in their genetic coding. So they could pass blue eye color down to their kids, and their kids would have a small chance of getting blue eyes. :)

Erm, I think that the blue eyes is a 'leap generation' kinda thing. Aniu has orange and yellow eyes, no doubt, so I think its Balto's Dad that have the blue eyes.:closedgrin:

the blue eye thing really gets you thinking. Alue Balto AND Kodi are part wolf not just Alue and Balto. All 4 of them are part dog and one of the 4 is pure dog. That would be Jenna
