A few non-official DVD covers...

Because the two official Balto dvd covers aren't good at all, here a few fake dvd covers made by fans and are good examples of what I believe Universal should have done...

* The first cover was made by me (steet) and was based on an awesome painting by Ezra Tucker :

* The second one was also made by me. It is based on another awesome painting, but this time by Chuck Jones, who I believe also did the original VHS cover for Balto...

* The third one was made by Pample, using different screenshots from the film.

* The fourth one is a fake DVD cover from Russia, which is used to sell a non-official version of the films...Look closely at the pictures on the cover. Haven't you seen them anywhere?...Yes. These screenshots come from Balto Source.

* The last one is another russian fake DVD, sold as well. This time, many elements comes from the russian Balto fan site 'The Balto Reunion'...

I rather yours. They weren't that creative when it came too DVD covers. But that doesn't matter what matters is the movies are good not the covers. Well atleast I don't care! Do you!? I like the cover of Balto 3 best. I like Balto 1's cover second and Balto 2's cover least because they make Aleu look like a baby.

Though you've stated the second painting was from Chuck Jones, it should be noticed according to the webpage, it was from John Alvin, but is being sold through the gallery set up on the site.
