My Mom's a teacher an she found a book called Akiak . I read it for fun and it was about a husky that ran the same route that Balto and Togo did. here's a picture of the book:

As a Balto fan I really liked this book. It's about a Husky named Akiak that runs the Iditarod and has some trouble like Balto.

i read that book on the beginning of the school year and its only has a little bit different than the movie but it started and ended like balto
