I have thought for a while about this article but it won't live up to standards.Well i have watched WQ several times now and i have noticed Nava and Aniu both look alike and both take care over Aleu and Balto on their quest together i think they could be family perhaps Nava is the great grandad of Balto.This is not impossible because we have been left with questions that Aniu could of been shot or killed some other way then natural causes.
This has made me think further as Nava always said he talked to Aniu in his dreams well actually he didn't say Aniu he said 'The white wolf' which has caused us to think that he is talking about Aniu,all the way through he talks about Aniu telling him in his dreams that the carribous will not come back and stuff like that so this means Aniu is watching over them.
I also think that Aniu was a shape shifter and made herself be The Raven to watch over Alue and Balto on their quests.As spirits were to have been said to be shape shifters in the after life and Aniu could of changed into The fox,The wolverine,The bear and The raven to have made her son see all of his senses.

SimbasGuard that is a very good point but a clan is normally thought of as a family so maybe they could of been family and maybe Niju was just jealous well my article was just a thought.

Nice article! But let me test your theory: so you think that Aniu was all the animal/spirits that Balto and aleu encountered. How would that work in the scene with the wolverines, first we see the crow then we see the THREE wolvernies then we see aniu sitting on the far side of the gorge thing. so how could aniu be in so many places at one time??°x°

Yes he did call him "my brother" but he would call all of his male pack members his brothers.

Yes, it is possible that they could be related somehow, but just because Nava said "my borther" it doesn't necessarily mean that he and Balto actually are brothers. As proper and family set as he is, (meaning he believes the pack to be like his family) Nava probably called other wolves of his clan this on other occasions. And yes, Aniu was a spirit wolf and a shape shifter, changing into the raven to watch over both Aleu and Balto. But just because she was a spirit, does not mean that she necessarily died. Think of the Roman gods, they weren't dead but had powers like Aniu and they often had children with mortals who, like Balto, had great destinies that lay at their feet.

This could just be me, but I'm writting a fan fic and the white wolf(b1) is Aniu's brother. To me they don't look like the same wolf. I think Aniu watcheds over wolves like a guardian angel or wolf.

Aniu might of been a part of Navas clan and as wolves usually refer to their pack members as family then they could of thought each other as family.That is the reason he called them "my brothers and sisters" he called Balto "My brother" because he thought Aniu had told him about Balto and he knew that Aniu was his mother.Aniu would of watched over the clan of Nava because it was her old clan and she would always protect it.

Not necessarily SimbasGuard. Just because she was a goddess, it doesn't mean she couldn't feel love for a mortal husky. The Roman gods and godesses did the same thing all the time, XD. Just because Aniu was more or less a higher power, it doesn't mean she couldn't have chosen to love a mortal, even a husky.

ive always thought that balto aniu and nava were in the same family just by lookin at them. besides wht about when nava says my brothers and sisters. could this mean that nava is balto half bro. maybe aniu had another wolf as a mate and had a litter before balto. another thing i wonder about is that does balto have any siblings that share his same mom and dad.
