Yes your expecting another movie compare, yes it is one,but before you click away, see for yourself why I made this(knowing there are TONS of articleds about comparisons) but the other day I saw with my little cousins the cartoon movie of, Rudolph the rednosed reindeer, and I noticed this movie and Balto are TRULY alike.
First of all the characters, they have there pros and cons as well.
Rudolph and Balto
Well typical isn't it? Both chars are 'cursed' with something they hate, the half wolf, and the red nose, both are simple, both are good hearted, both have low self stem, both have like a 'voice of reason', both save something, a town, and...Christmas?.
Jeena and Zoey (she's called like that...right?)
Whenever there a hero there's alway a girl, and this is no exeption, both Rudy and Balto have love interests, both calm, both gentle, both admired, the only diference is that Zoey is more submissive than Jenna, as Zoey shows sumition to the rival.
Oh and I forgot, bot girls leave home to help their heroes on their journeys.
Arrow and Steele
A protagonist always have a rival, and in both movies there's one, Steele and Arrow, both known as 2nice looking, bullies, hated and loved at the same time, both violent on some terms, both looking for the girl, both seemed at 'the one in charge', as the most loved guyson town.
The difference, Steeles, is cunning and warm ladies choice personality, while Arrow has a more cold and violent nature, always showing that Zoey is 'his girl' and has no eyes for any other.
There are more characters as well, A Polar bear (Muk and Luk, tho this guy is more mature than both), a fox (Boris) ready to help, and giving advice and well the other reinders on Arrow harem, who laugh at Rudy.
Something curious about this movie are some scenes equal to balto.
Rudolph and Zoey are in a romantic walk, and Arrow comes and ruins everything, Do this sound familiar?
I didn't find pics of this but here are videos

A race, yes a race to choose the FASTEST reindeer, Rudolph joins and wins, but is suddenly discualified! Familiar...isn't it

Who guides a team trough a treacherous storm, to save christmas, looks like some mutt we knoe who guides a team trough a treacherous strom to save a town...
This two movies have a lot in common, more than one could expect, besides there are scenes in which Rudy thinks of Zoey in the Northern Lights! northern lights...I think I saw it in another movie XD
In conclusion this movies so much going on, but watch this movie, if you find it because its pretty unknown, this movie was also unknown due people never watched it much, because Disney also stomped this one, with the one they made, and another computer sorta Rudolph too made by another company I don't know.
Thanks for reading
Kepz.

I thought Rudolph's friend was Clarice, but I'm thinking of a different Rudolph movie. They are so smiler because the real stories are smiler, and Balto is a true story. Just saying. |

Never heard about that animated film. It seems to be pretty well drawn, even if the story base is very much childish. The similarities aren't that big to me, though. Most animated films have this type of scenes or characters. |

Hmm. Good article, although steet is right.

I've never heard of a cartoon Rudolph movie. But it sounds like the original Balto, just insted of dogs, they used deer. |
