I just got a new Balto stuffed animal and I saw right away that his fur is NOT the color it is in the movie. Balto is gray in the movie right? well, take a looks at some of these toys I founs on ebay and such.

now if you look at all three of these...you see that there is one thing wrong with them all...THERE FUR IS RED!

I don't know what the deal here is but Balto is not red! I wish they would have payed more close attenion to the movie. they would know that Balto's gray.

well to be honest balto's fur in the movie is strange mix of grey and brown. But the companys that make the toys almost never getthe color or styling right. I'll give them points for effort after all if look that shade somewhat shows up durring certain scences in the movie

Well, the actual reason is, the movie is a cartoon aimed at kids (even though we still like it, like lion king) and kids don't really care if it's exactly the right way.

Their not actually red. They may look red but it's just the colour of the brown they used for their Balto toys.

I have all three of those pieces of merchandise, and I will say that I understand the point you are making. It's clear and argue mental, but I agree with Rain(Thunderstorm). They almost never get the color right. but I will also mention that the colors in the 2nd and 3rd one do almost match the merchandise.

the toys are brown because baltos fur color is brown, put a pick of him on paint and use the tool : pick color the color you'll gets brown he just looks grey in the film but hes actually a dark brown

Mmm. It looks like the colors of the real balto. Still though. That's weird for them to get the colors THAT off. Doesn't look too bad on the lil action figure though

he looks okay. Balto's colr is not pure grey, it's greyish brown. and the toy made him redish brown. I think it's Okay.
