So while watching Balto 1 i noticed a few things

The first one was about gramma Rosie's niece's dog blaze.Now correct me if I am wrong but isn't jenna suposed to be a red husky like this- well isnt blaze the same type of dog? And if infact Gramma Rosie is Rosie then couldn't it be possible for Blaze to be like jenna's daughther's pup? Just a simple thought.........

The second thing I noticed is that the scene were Jenna and balto are looking at the 'northern lights' Jenna says 'Balto there beautiful' but arent dogs color blind?

The third one, you need to kinda watch the movie for this one XD. The scene Right before Balto falls and see's his mother, he jumps and grabs the medicine right? But my question is..If Balto is all hooked up in his harness's then how come when you see him grab the box he is out of his harness? I dont know?

The fourth one I think has been written about before but I am not sure. When Balto is fighting that huge Grizzly bear, That bear is HUGE. but then you see him with Muk and luk and he's about the same size.

The final one is about that moose in the third balto. Well I saw a moose in Balto 1 too. I think it is right before Balto first see's the bear I have no picture of it though XD

For the third one: Actually, it happens extremely quick but Balto gets out of his harness. Watch him more closely and maybe you'll catch it. Second: I doubt the animators were thinking about that, but still wouldn't they be beautiful if they were black and white, all shades of grey? Just kindof a comment. I am not trying to be mean at all. Correct me if I am wrong on any of this.

Good job! Those were very interesting points that aren't brought up often. And Gentle Wolf's right; Balto jumps out of his harness *very* fast (as in about half a second. Impossible, but it IS a children's movie, right? XD)

Actually (i don't know really) that dogs aren't colored blind. I got this information somewhere, but if I am wrong, please correct me. Besides, this is an awesome movie, and great article!!!!

About your second observation: Dogs actually can see in color, but their vision is considerably dimmer than ours. They don't see colors as vividly as humans do.

No, I really think that blaze is an Alaskan Klee Kia, (I think that how you spell it) they are rare but just look one up, they are basically just a mini husky. Secon everybody "says" dogs are color blind, but I disagree. You can set toys out and tell a dog go get your yellow toy and he will (Blieve me I've tried it) and they can see things like lazers and stuff, but if they were color blind wouldnt things like lazors and lights just blend in? third, the harness in the movie are not like real harnesse if the were Balto could not have just walked into it when he deafeted Steele and lead the team and he was able to just jump out of it when he went for the meddiccine that was a good article though

dogs can see certain colors and the animaters probably were not thinking about that since it is a kid movie. i mean what little 5 year old would notice that?? anyway that was a great article.

and southpaw not to be mean or anything but i think blaze is just a siberian husky puppy. alasken klee kias are very small and the only reason blaze was small is because blaze was a puppy and not done growing.
