Why is Alue so mad about being part wolf?

Why was Alue so suprised about this, when a lot of the clues were right there!
First, Alue's father looks so much like a wolf!
Second, Alue has sharper claws then her brothers and sisters!
Third, If she thought she was pure husky, then why did she howl!
Fourth, Alue is picked last out of the litter, if I were her i would ask why that was true!
5th, Why didnt she stop when she saw that the hunter was pointing a gun at her!

1. she didn't think about that her father looks like a wolf, she thinks she is a pure-breed husky, she thought that also her father is a dog breed, she don't know anything about wolves because she lives in town with her mother and silblings and all what she see there are dogs in different breeds. 2. Where do you see that with her claws? 3. Also Huskies howl not only wolves do that, in Wings of Chance Jenna howls also as Balto returned and the mail dogs howl in the alley. 4. that is right but i think a small puppy haven't such complexe thoughts, she even thinks she is a husky. Why not, Balto tells her the truth much later. 5. The hunter wanted to kill wild animals and Aleu thinks the is a dog and not a wild animal and ran to him, maybe he will adopt her (no one wants adopt wolves right?) If she sees the gun, she stopped, her parents or boris have surely telled her that guns are very dangerous.

I totaly agree with Mettwurst-DMP, Alue had no idea about wolves, so she thought that howling the way she did was normal, and that her father was just a breed of dog. She thought wolves were wild, disgusting creatures, but then she found out how nice and normal wolves were, they were just given a bad reputation.

The reason I made Aleu eaten by the wolf pack was because 1) I don't really like her cuz her personality is not original at ALL and 2) Realistically, the wolves would not have accepted her being leader. According to documentaries and of the like.

Well, Kiara from Lion King is VERY similar, and that movie is older than Balto 2. And Scamp from Lady and the Tramp 2. And Melody from Little Mermaid 2. Now keep in mind I'm not just picking on Aleu. Having this type of character has probably happened many more times before. And it's tiring for anyone to see. *scoffs at movie makers*

Well, looking at professional wolf documentaries, the leader isn't just chosen, nor is it where the leader is whoever is the last leader's offspring. The leader is always the strongest wolf, right? Yeah, yeah, I know it's a KIDS movie, they wouldn't show her fighting Nava or Niju, but if she was to become leader, the LEAST she could've done was fight off Nuk, Yak, and Sumac off better. I didn't see her actually attack them/jump on them. The most I really seen her do that was (semi)amazing was stay under water for a very long time. And she is a bit on the naive side, I'll give her that because she was barely over a year old. But even so, could a dog only a year old and with very little skills of leadership be a good leader to a wolf pack? In reality, it's highly doubtful. But...I'm obviously not gonna convince you, so I don't even know why you bother to ask what I'm thinking LoL lol

Well, I'm aware of that. Adding more different characters makes the movie more interesting. I'm just pointing out stuff that they should have at least THOUGHT about in the second Balto movie, because I think it could have been a heck of a lot better, and it irritates me to this day. Aleu being a leader was just one of those things where they couldn't think of a greater purpose in the movie for her. Should she have shown more acts of braveery and strength (making her character a bit more likable, BUT maybe a TAD too good), then, ok by all means let her be leader. Now, I would rant on about some other stuff, but I may piss some people off. But anyway, about Aleu's character, it's pretty easy to fall in love with how a cartoon character acts. Right off the bat you know that Aleu was a typical daughter. Very nice, very realistic way of thinking. Its just that TO ME, "finding herself" didn't make her all the more likable/original. Now, I did think it was cool when I found out a background to this movie. For the Inuit (or something, I'll just say Inuit) if a member of a tribe or whatever turns a certain age, they have to leave and stay in the wild, until they found out their purpose or "Who they really are" meaning, their animal guide would eventually help them. Sound familiar? Yes, the background of it all is interesting, but I still think what I think about the movie. Sometimes I wish they would re-make it, JUST to see how they do it, you know? LoLlol

Ok, I respect that. Just to add a note before any of the movies were made. Where I live, there was a huge outbreak of the personality Cat described. Many of whom were lost in the streets or died because they couldn't figure out themselves. In a personal note, I did help some of them:) Anyway, when these movies started coming out( and some awareness and whatnot), the levels drop little by little. Little bit of psychology and Kid-ovision as to say. Thats it for me, Nice responses:p

Balto was telling her all the time that she is a pure husky, so she believed her father. 3.sherealized that she was the only wolf in Nome. Alue aint stupid she's a great character, so what if she got mad just because she finds out about being a wolf. I don't think she knew what a gun was ethier and in the end she accepts who she is.
