Balto 3 - Analysis

This is about how Dusty could be part wolf.

Moonpool :

There's been articles like this in the past and it seems to be obvious Dusty is a Siberian Husky. Atleast that's what most people on this site say about her. Also people say she looks like Aleu and some people say she's totally different.

Look at this picture and look at Dusty:

Notice Anything? Yes she looks like a Wolf and sort of like Aleu. Right now I'll tell you her Aleu looks and personalty and not.

Now look at Aleu:

Here are the same things:

1. Notice they have the same markings.

2. If you look at a picture with Aleu next to Balto then one with Dusty next to Kodi(Almost same size as Balto) they both look about the same size.

3. For this one look at Dusty's paw. Both raise their paw when howling.

4. Both seem to be a little stubborn and it takes them both some time to get something.

5. Notice if you dark Dusty's fur she could be Aleu's sister.

Differences:

1. Dusty doesn't play a big part in the movie as Aleu did in Wolf Quest.

2. Their colorings are different.

3. Dusty has kept her main color and we have not seen her as a pup. We've seen Aleu as a pup and she has change colorings over 3 times.

4. Dusty is better groomed than Aleu and doesn't seem to have that full wolf in her.

5. Look at their eyes. Aleu's is the same as Balto's.

6. Dusty has never complained about anybody controlling her but Aleu did.

7. Dusty seemed to fit in with everyone yet Aleu did not.

So this is a possibility Dusty has a bit of wolf in her.

Hmm. They do have similar markings, but if you look those markings or similar ones are also found on nearly all of the dogs in the trilogy. Still, this is a good article!

We have one answer to this. Bad Animation. Dusty was NOT meant to be wolf-like at all. They would have said that she was in the movie if that was the case.

i still think that she's still just a siberian husky. There are many huskies that may look like Aleu but are not part wolf. thats my conclusion and i'm sticking with it. but, nice article.

If I may add to this article, look at a pic of Star from the movie "Balto". He, Aleu and Dusty have a lot in common. Star has a similar color as Aleu and Dusty, very similar markings and he has blue eyes like them too. It seems a Balto movie just HAS to have a grayish- brownish canine in it. Just a thought

manyy people think that jenna and balto had a second litter but i see this as impossible becuase why would kodi and dusty seem to mave a crush on each other if they were related?

It is a possiblity, but it could just be the animators fault that dusty looks like that. They really dod not draw the wolves/dogs that well. But a good article all in all.

It is true,but yeah,Aleus eyes are as Baltos,but she have a same style of a eyes as Dusty.

Aleu and dusty look very simalar maybe they are related.But dusty is probably related to balto because aleu got her looks form her father so dusty would of came from baltos side of the family

Anyways I'm commenting on my own article XD Aleu and Dusty are NOT related. It's just not possible through my eyes. I'm just saying that they look alike.
