A heads up for fans - Kaltag and Nikki do seem to return in Wings of Change, as well as a Balto clone

I noticed this a while back in Wings of Change, and screenshots have confirmed it.



In one scene in WoC, during the whole EDAS thing, Kaltag and Nikki seem to appear. Image:











The left most window of the apartment (that's what I presume it is because of the 'ROOMS' sign) has a golden husky in it, one that looks like Kaltag. It is possible that he's just turned so you can't see his dark eyepatch. In the next open window it appears as if a roundish, brown husky is barking out of it - Nikki. But the next dog is the strangest of all. Standing on top of the roof of the next building ('John's Bar', it seems) is what looks like Balto. People will probably say, 'oh, but he doesn't have Balto's colors'. Balto's colors change so much in the movie it isn't funny, but one of the main colors he is shown as having is dark brown with lighter underfur, but it seems almost grayish in tone. Also, this Balto clone has all of Balto's markings, and he seems to have a dog sled collar on. It's definite this is not Balto, as Balto wouldn't be wearing a dog sled collar at this stage as it's before he's confronted with the proposition that he leads the mail team in the race.



So there we have it - Kaltag, Nikki and a Balto clone seem to make an appearance in WoC.

An article like that already EXISTS!!!! Anyway, the "Balto clone" doesn't appears in the roof only; if you see the movie very well, you can see that dog in the same sled team as Kodi. CatWhoHas14Tails named that dog as Hank, and he is, alongside another dog, also seen in the movie, "named" Kano, shown as an evil nemesis of Kodi and Kirby love in Cat's "Buried Secrets", as well as in ArticWolf91's fanfics.

I agree with Kelev. Not to mention that the dog you said that looked like Niki has pointed ears. just saying that. thats all. otherwise, I agree with the balto look alike though.

It doesn't look like Nikki, but not even Balto looks like the original Balto from the first movie. The characters aren't going to look the same. Different animators. And Balto 1 and Balto 3 were made years apart.

The Kaltag clone? You can see just before that shot that he completely lacks any eyepatch - besides, the patch was on the eye visible in this pic. The Nikki clone? Was on the sled team. Looks nothing like Nikki. The Balto clone? Simply a dog who looks like Balto. Was also on the sled team. Call them what you like, but it's not official.

well, kaltag's eyepatch is on his left eye (check out the images section) and the dog on the roof is clearly the dog on kodi's team, he shows up in another pic. the brown dog is also on the team. copy/paste link in adress bar to see the pic. h ttp://baltoworld.de/images/b3/shots/images/259.jpg notice that the "nikki" one and the "balto" one have the black sleddog harness things. besides, the "nikki" one has big ears and the "kaltag" one has all brown ears there while real kaltag has black-tipped ears. but your right they all do look like clones with a quick glance.
