Sorry that I have no pics but Kodi has different colors! Look at pics from the movie and see how his red fur is slightly different from Jenna's red fur. Then, look at his underfur. The white is more creamier than Jenna's. And, if you compare the older Kodi to the younger puppy Kodi, you'll see that puppy Kodi is more scarlet red than older Kodi.

Plus, I just wanted to add this one more thing. Look at the red puppy's faces. Then look at Alue's face. Alue's head connects to her body while the other's heads are more rounder and don't connect. They have more neck than Alue. Just wanted to point these things out!

Kodi probably darkened as he grew older, and no one necessarily said that he had to be the exact same color as his mother. As for the heads, I really hadn't noticed that! Good point!

Great point. I love how you pionted out the heads are round and Aleu's is not. And I think Kodi's color changed because when dogs get older the fur color changes usually. Well great articl, and thanks to point this out.

Very interesting artical. But I think I can solve some of this. First of all: All puppies are a little darker, or lighter, then their older selves. My dog did the same thing. He got darker though. My cat, however, got lighter. Anyways. Next: Alue looks more like her dad. Because of that, she supposivly looks more wolf. Huskies tend to have rounder faces, while wolves have more slender ones.

As "fur" colors are, they are usually given that color because they are colored by a strange pigment found inside the hair structures. Kodi's color change may be the result of color loss as one grows older. The color weakens and fades into white or black.

Yeah, i noticed that too. Kodi was once bright red and whitish and then went to burgundy and a little purplish. But as dogs and even cats, as they get older their fur darkens. But yes you make a good point. and good article.

I prefer his colors when he was a puppy but you're right that him and Jenna are different colors. Also, Jenna's coloring changed in the sequals. I prefered the original Jenna.
