'I was hoping to get a chance at the lead dog, dad. Like you.' Kodi says. Okay...so I'm sorry, but doesn't lead dog mean the you're at the front of the team?? Look closely, and you will notice that at the begining, Kodi is running at the front with Kirby. (Sorry, no pics, but I'm sure you'll have good memory!) So please correct me if I'm wrong, but if lead dog means that's the dog at the very front, and the movie already shows Kodi at the very front, then Kodi, What's your problem?! You ARE lead dog already!

well......Kodi and Kirby are both really good,like sooo fast and better at the others.so,when Kodi says "i was hoping to get a chance at lead dog.like you dad" he was saying that he wanted to get better then Kirby. well.....not very much of teamwork is there!!!!!

Basically, Kodi wanted to be THE lead dog, not just a co-leader. Smart thinking, really, since having two lead dogs is just asking for trouble.

Kodi wanted to be a lead dog because he wanted to be like his father. Although that he run in front of Kirby, he's not the leader and Kodi must do something. Do you remember when he said to the team that he wanted to help Duke? He had to persuade them....

I think what Kodi meant was that he wanted to be the ONLY lead dog of the team. On his mail team, both he and Kirby are at the front, but he wants to be the only one at the front like Balto was when he was bringing the medicine back home.

I have to disagree with what you said about Kodi, wolf whisperer. Wanting to lead doesn't make kodi an imbecile. He said himself he wanted to be on the team to help people. And he wanted to be the lead dog because he wanted to make his dad proud. There is nothing stupid about that.

Kodi isnt the lead dog, Kirby is in the lead dog spot. Yes there are two spaces in the front, but the lead dog is on the left. 9If im right its on left, but still its Kirby's spot)

In a sled there is one ''lead dog" but there is a co-leader. One dog is in control and keeps the team in line and the other dog is basiclly just part of the rest of the team not a lead dog. So Kodi was probably just the co-leader. He cant be in the front alone because thats not how a sled works.

Well, umm let me put this striaht, *thinks for a secend* ok, now you siad that he was at the front for lead dog, good point, but................. dosent lead dog mean that its the onley dog in the front? well to me it dose, when stean is in the front in the first movie he was the onley one there. and whhen balto got his chance he took it and agian onley dog in the very front. i just wanted to make some pointres and if you could change your artical (not saying you have to) please follow my exampels, thanks - Balto676

After watching Snow Buddies, I required this information, the postition Kodi has is the Navigator, the lead dogs partner. He is like, the second in charge, and helps the lead dog lead, I think.
