Wolf Art : Look at the pics and observe, the team is mixed up. and the dog that took kirby's position, LOOKS LIKE BALTO!!! lazy animators? and apparently they made the mistake 2 times. and see that they are in the same excact position in both pics. its like they replayed the characters, just with a different backround and music. talk about CRAZY!!! so whats the deal?

I think that article was posted a long time ago. But I think it's nice to bring up the old articles. Good Job!

It's a trick of the trade. Most people won't see it except for some sharp eyed people like you. It saves time and money to reuse some of the animation. |

i agree lazy artistist and i agree with kelev!nice post! |
ya a bit of money to is saved so they do it alot i think that "its what ppl cant see not what they can see" |

exact same picture twice! geez, those lazy animators think we're not smart enough to notice oh, we do! great
article^^

It's to small to notice in the film. So, I don't think it makes a difference... |

Well, The reason they used the animation twice is to save time really, it can save money but instead of making a all new animation they used that again. and for Kirby's appearance? maybe just a messup, you can see then in all animated movie's. if you look hard enough. |

hey ya.i seeit.gooid job. |

Ooh I know where Kirby is look closely at the dog behind Balto now look at the spaces between balto's hind legs and kodi's front legs and inbetween all kodi's legs you can see four kirby coloured legs as well as the other dogs legs mabe kirbys running behind the other dog.

well he is thicker in the pix so maybe the way they drew it looked odd besides all the others look kinda weird becuz theyre running |
omg i never would have noticed. thats realy funny

The third dog to the left looks oddly like Aleu...anybody notice that? |
yeah. animation does that sometimes. in the first balto, if you notice, when there's a map showing the course from nome to nanana, the footage in the background of steele and his team running is some of the same footage that they used for the race at the beginning of the movie. and i doubt that that "wannabe balto" was really supposed to look like balto. its just a coinsidence i guess. |

Wolf Art- I know that's dusty, but she looks kind of like Aleu in that shot. |

It's not that uncommon to see color mix-ups. I've seen tons of 'em. In one of the oder episodes of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I once caught a glimpse of Leonardo wearing red like Raphael (and in another episode Raphael was briefly shown wearing Donatelo's outfit). Of more interest to dog fans, one episode of a show called Road Rovers once showed Blitz colored like Hunter for a moment. For those of you who don't know about the show, suffice it to say that a goof like that is almost as bad as it would have been to show Steele colored like Bato. The basic point is, color goof-ups are very common in animated movies and TV shows. |

Wolf Art- I dunno, I didn't really see Balto 3, I wasn't too enthused about it to start with. Lol |
Lol, yeah, if they make another Balto, hopefully it'll be up to par with the first one... |
Yeah they were. XD |
Remember, it's just animation. Kids don't care about that kind of stuff. But good point!

u must have a lot of time on your hands if u picked something this little out |

Most likely they did that to save money and since it was classified as a children's movie they figured kids wouldn't really be paying attention there. Unless it's some unknown pup of Balto from his second litter or something, but that's highly unlikely. And they reused the animation frames there, again to save time and money, all they did was shade it different. I hate lazy animators. |

AAAARGH!! DOG WITH ROBOTIC LEGS!!! heeelp!!! |

I really detest the animation in Balto 3. I find it simply atrocious and a little irritating, since I consider animated movies an art - especially any sequel to such a great movie as Balto. Thanks for sharing! |

Both Balto 2 and Balto 3 got on my nerves and sucked bad! The animaters were TERRIBLE. They should have kept Balto 1 the only one, in my opinion. They are adding what is not true to the story...and eventually stories end, meaning that if they ever make a last movie to remember and honor Balto, it will suck. |

Seeing Kirby that looks like balto makes me say, Why did those animators make Kirby look like Balto. |
omg i didn't even notice, they do that alot in other shows, yeesh if ur gonna do something do it right |
