Personality: Up to her mateship with Cenhelm Saba was streetsmart and a bit of a player. She's a commitmentphobe so often doesn't like committing to things or others. Now after her pup's birth, their father's death and her move to England she is shy and prefers to remain around the company of humans rather than alone with other dogs. She supports her daughters and sons but she doesn't like being out in the open on her own.

Saba was the second-last born of her litter. She was adopted by a young fairly wealthy family. Saba was unhappy with her elder brother Dakota moving down to America but she soon made several friends with the male dogs and often was involved with one. She met Cenhelm, a sled dog from Anchorage midway through 1929. Soon they fell in love and decided to become mates, which was a big step for Saba as she feared commitment. Her sister Suka wasn't happy however with Cenhelm's choice of mate and fled Nome - Cenhelm was her only friend in Nome that wasn't her family and she had grown fond of him. Saba put off having pups when Dingo and Balto searched for Suka but she became pregnant a month later when it was clear she was not coming back after a week.

Sometime near the end of Saba's pregnancy Cenhelm went missing. His caregiver couldn't find him to take him back to Anchorage the same day, and nobody had seen him. Rumors went around that he was killed by a bear or by wolves, but Saba didn't believe them. She gave birth to four pups - Rocky, Oktobre, Kylie and Madison. Rocky and Kylie were both sold to buyers from Las Vegas - Rocky went to a dogfight trainer and Kylie went to a showdog trainer. Oktobre and Madison stayed with Saba and her household.

Saba one day overheard talk of them all moving to England. She was petrified - she still believed Cenhelm to be alive somewhere, so where would he go if he came back? It was 1931 when they moved and Saba always resented the shift. Eventually Oktobre was sold to another family and Saba continued to live with the family in the outskirts of London, still secretly hoping that she would see Cenhelm again.
