First of all, I apologize for not posting the "Weekly Features" not so weekly. So, to make it easier on all of us, I decided to make it bi-weekly (that is, posting a feature every two weeks).
Secondly, I'd like to remind everyone of a few fanart rules.
1. Only drawings that you made yourself, or are colored fanarts (with the owners permission and/or copyrights on them) are allowed in your fan art gallery.
2. You must have at least one Balto drawing in your gallery. If not, your gallery will not be accepted until you do.
3. Of course, do not steal! This goes for poses, characters, pictures, and/or names. This can be very touchy and will lead to a flame war, causing trouble for you and the other people involved.
4. Do not fill your gallery with lineart, or "repeat renders." This isn't very nice to look at, and is very unoriginal. Take some time to sketch something out in the sketcher, on iScribble, or ArtGrounds. You don't have to be an amazing artist to have a gallery and fans!
Features!
Fan Art Features:
First of all, our second-time features will go to the following:
DolphinsFriend, for having a style that no one can refuse. Who wouldn't want to grab one of her drawings and hug it around the neck? Not only does she have a gallery entrance picture that just lures you in, but she's also made quite the improvement.
Maya_Fire_Master95, another one of our Balto-Source Artists with an adorable and distinct style. Like many of us, Maya uses both the Traditional and Digital method of drawing - allowing herself more options when creating some gorgeous artwork!
Fan Images Features:
Our two chosen fan image galleries to feature.
Jaycnotchiboa has a rendering gallery that just makes you giggle. The image that brought JayC to my attention was Dawn of the Dead, an image created for the slap-happy humorists. JayC also has one of the most character-original galleries - editing each screen capture to be her characters, yet still keeping them clean enough to look like they came straight from the movies themselves!
Saske_Italian_Wolf is another rendering artist, who is in the same boat with JayC. Saske has had amazing renders from the start, and has improved as well! I find these two to be amongst the best rendering artists I've come across so far.
Congratulations to our features. I apologize that I haven't any new guides yet, but I am working on an updated Drawing Guide for you all. I will also be creating tutorials for City scenes, forests, and other backgrounds! If you'd like to suggest a tutorial, please, do so in this topic. The Community will appreciate your speaking up!
Have fun, be well, and laugh often!

kirada: you should give all of the artists credit because they are all so amazing at art! Its rude to pick favorites! Besides that the article was enjoyable. |

It's not "picking favorites." I go through the gallery pages and pluck out several artists I find deserving. I have them alternate so people will see other galleries, as well. |
