BTW, just a tip I've found useful. Always try to have a good back story. For example, in my Toby stories, Toby has an older half-brother named Pete who shows great enmity towards him. That part I had always figured on having. But I wanted Pete's mistreatment of Toby to have an explanation as opposed to being random hatred, so I came up with an explanation for it to add depth to the story. The explanation? Well, if you haven't read my fanfics yet, I'd love for you to do so.
