I had decided to change my avatar today. Once I uploaded it on the main site, my old avvie shows up instead of my new one! What's going on?

I generate a random number for pictures when you create an avatar. If you're "unlucky", you can get the same number as a previous one, so it will not appear as "changed". I'm doing this because browsers put images into a cache, so it won't appear "changed" if they keep the same name.
The solution for you, would be to either try again, or press "CTRL + F5" on your keyboard on a page displaying your avatar to force the browser to refresh the image.
