My question is, does the site have permission to use Balto footage in fanvideos? What I mean is did Steet ask Universal or Amblimation permission to let fans make videos with their animation? I'm asking this because decrypting a disk without permission is illegal. It's not that I want to cause trouble it's just my parents won't buy me a decrypter program if the site doesn't have permission. Please someone who knows for a FACT answer me. I don't want any false information.

True, doing this is on the edge of legality, and for a long time I didn't want a video section on the site. But, you'll notice that the site only gives links, the videos are hosted elsewhere...So, it's the other sites' responsability if they accepted them, not mine. And, as Cat said, Universal doesn't care much, if they did I would already have had messages from them. Unfortunately they just don't care much from Balto at all.

As long as you have something saying that those characters belong to Universal, and they weren't created by you, and you're not making any money off it, there shouldn't be a problem.
