So, on the shout boxes and role play, what can you NOT say about mates? I mean, can you say that you HAVE a mate? CAn you say your mate is gone? What EXACTLY can you NOT say, and what is OKAY to say about a mate?

There is really not much of an exception for mate talk on the Shout box, it is clearly banned. People who due speak of mating are often warned immediately.The mate box was a very early feature for Balto Source, but I was not around to see it. It was taken down due to complaints as this is a children's website and to have any type of feature allowing publically visible "mate" conversations does not make sense and at times seem inappropriate. Mating is however highly acceptable on Private Messages and occasionally Role Playing on the forums, but mate RP's are banned on the Shoutbox due to inappropriateness.
