Basically i don't think The Lion King 2 was worth making; i fully adore the plot because it shows how a forbidden love triumph against their own benefit's of the families yet what made me boil when it came out was that Simba was the one we fell in love with? Why did a daughter have to come along?

Same with Lady and the Tramp 2 and The Little Mermaid 2; they have all things in common.
Offsprings of the hero.
It would have been better if it was showing how Simba got on being king; what happened straight after when he roared from the rock?

What makes me sad is how they leave such good characters; what happened to Sarabi?
And also the colours in TLK2 is not the same; pumbaa is red, not brown.
I've made my statement.

Excellent article. Adding to the colors, they make Simba's mane brown when it should be red, and his coat color tan when it should be gold.

Sequals are never as good as the first one,but I still liked TLK2.

I loved TLK2 when I was little, mainly cuz the main character was female. lol

Yeah i love TLK2 but i agree that they didn't have to make a sequel or a prequel kind of thing either.

Simba was my second fave char in the Lion King, but i HATED him in THe Lion King 2, because he tried to be too much like his father, and he thought he was right about everything and never listened to anybody else.

I think she died of old age anyway the actor who voiced her in the 1st film died and they probably couldn't find anyone as good to play her so just left her out anyway she isn't that important to the plot

I didnt think the second film was as good as the first but i still liked it.
