Strangely, Squaresoft didn't include the most famous Disney film in the first game.
But this hasn't lasted long, as a Lion King world is included in the second game, to be released in 2006 on the PS2!

Here are a few screenshots scanned from magazines, and as you can see, the modelisations are pretty incredible and really suit the characters...Squaresoft, japanese game maker, does a better job for 3D than Disney would do! And on a console that is 4-5 years old! (ever seen Mickey's twice upon a christmas? Then don't...you would be horrified to see how bad they turned their own Disney characters in 3D...)

I love those kinds of games where they put out the lion king props. I think the Designs of the game was outstanding, they got every shot of the movie correct from the begginning to the ending they did an awsome job.

Sora is so cute as a lion! My friend and I play that all the time. We let Simba and Donald or Goofy battle while we practice our jumping skills.
