why?

Nessa :

Ok. I just notice Mufasa is in the second movie at the begginging on the sun. Why would the animators put him their and how come he isn't used in the rest of the movie? I mean at least in the first on they mader his ghost appear. Shouldn't they have done that in the second one. Anyone know why he had only on line at the end?(besides him being dead?) and they don't show him saying, 'well done my son, we are on.' they just have the wind blowing in his face.

does it really matter if Mufasa had a big role or not? The sequal was focused on Kovu and Kiara

Mufasa was just fine were he was in part 2. The wind blowing could be Mufasa touching Simba.

If you remember Simba's presentation (beginning of TLK 1) there was a sunlight magically coming from a cloud, so may be it's some kind of tradition when the next king/queen is presentted, if we supose that the sunlight in TLK 1 was Mufasa's father (Ahadi, isn't it?)

Anyway, I agree with Akilah, this is not really important.

They make him as one of the best characters in the series. He is Simba father. You can't forget to put the lead characters father on there. That would make it a very bad movie.

Well yeah, Simba is one of the elad characters in LK2, though it was based on Kovu and Kiara.

Mufassa was in there more then you really think. He told Rakiki about Kovu and Kiara being together in the first place with his wind and other ways, thus making the whole very plot of the movie all to gether, I have to say that was a pretty importent thing for him to do and makes him important in the movie as well! He also talked about in many of the lines such as -"You will never be Mufassa!" Kiara had yelled.- Mufassa was a hero in many ways looked on still many years after his death, but he was dead that's the flat truth, you can't walk to much on the past. Thus another reason Mufassa wasn't in the 2 nd movie as much, Besides......Why would he be? It's about, Kiara,Kovu, and Simba, with the stuggles of the Pride and of love. Like all great king I think Mufassa knew it was his time, he trusted his son to be a great king after him as well. Mistakes are made and surely Mufassa made them too, he was litting Simba have his turn, lead the way he was suposed to lead. Simba still looked for his father's advince and help and was always trying to follow in his foot steps, even though Mufassa some times didn't come to help at once. Simba needed to be the King his way and no other way, and Mufassa knew it even if Simba hisself did not. One more thing, Simba wasn't the only one to feel Mufassa's touch in the wind, Simba, Nala, Simba's daughter, and Rafikik felt it the day they showed Kiara to the Kingdom. Thus Mufassa did have a big role, the role of looking after his kingdom, just letting someone else care for it to.

-O.o' sorry that's long and most likly repeats things, but once I getting going on some thing......well you see.... -

I keep wondering about that. But I have a few theroys.
1. Simba I think said "If I could be like Mufasa" or something like that maybe Mufasa wants to help.
2. In we are one:song in TLK2: Simba looks up at the sky and then the wind blows. I think Mufasa dosen't want to be forgotten.
3. In the begining of TLK2 they show Kiara being held by Rafiki. Rafiki looks up at the skyn and there is Mufasa's head. Why?
But I Miss Mufasa. Scar! I Hate Scar 4 What he did! :Very Very Angry:

Becuase Most of the movie is focused on kovu and kiara...that was one of the rare times thin the sequal that the movie is totally focused on simba..and when you think of simba who else do you think of..Mufasa..but it also is thier to make a better..happilly ever after
