Everyone has a different opinion about Nala's father.Some say that it's Scar.Others say it's not.Here's my theroy.

Nala's father is an unknown lion who left the pride because he new that Scar was going to kill him because he wanted to mate with Sarafina.Nala also had a younger brother who died shortly after their father departure from depression.His depression,Nala's depression,and their mother's depression.Nala's father went to a pride that contained only a few lions who leader died.Thet leader being his brother.His brother left pride rock after being attacked by Scar because his anger got the best of cubsitting.Nala's father became the leader of his newly found pride and was never senn again.

That's my theroy.Some will and some won't agree,but I don't mind if they don't.

yea the thoery does work but i still stand by simbasguard and i stil say that if nalas dad left then he would have took sarafina and nala with him...i dont think that he would have just up and abandoned them°x°

It's probably Mufasa, because he was the only male lion in the pride, and only the leader of the pride could mate with the females. If Nala was someone elses cub, he would've killed her. And yes, i know that Scar "took in" Kovu, but it's probably because Scar was dissapointed with his other two kids (Nuka and Vitani)

I agree with Simbasguard, I don't think it was Mufasa. But I also agree with lexipooh, I think it was another lion, who either left the pride, or died for some reason. In real life there is usually only one male lion in a pride, so maybe he had to leave, but he mated with Sarafina before he did. Mufasa probably let Scar stay only because he was his brother. But usually there's only one male, so any male cubs that are born have to leave when they're older. (Simba of course didn't have to, he was heir to the throne.)

Then again, it is only an animated Disney movie, it doesn't have to be COMPLETELY like real life. Maybe Nala's father is just another lion, it doesn't matter who he is. He's just not Scar or Mufasa.

I think Nala's father was killed by scar who was Jelous of all the male Lions who had cubs, But later on had 2 cubs of his own with Zera in the 2nd movie. Nuka& Vitani. In some wierd way Nala looks a little bit like Mufasa and Sarabi & a bit like her birth mother but a bit like every lion in the flims.

These are all good theories, and i would like to agree with them...but ppl have argued about this for a long time, and Disney have officialy said that Nala's father is either mufassa or scar. Which means that she is either simba's half sister orm cousin! Eeww!

My artical is taking AGES to post, so i thought id say it now: Right, Zira ahd an unknown mate, so did sarafina, there cubs BOTH have blue eyes. RIGHT: So maybe Zira and Sarafina had the same unknown mate. Thus resulting in the fact that maybe Vitani and Nlala, are ralted, this is probobly were the theory that Vitani was nalas cub. But the mate just lived to a really old age and was able to mate and had another cub. Vitani

Anyway, I believe that Nala's father was a rogue, or perhaps, like you said, a lion who left the pride, most likely a friend of Mufasa's. However, people can believe what they like. You can believe it's Scar, or Mufasa, or anyone, but there isn't a definite answer.

I think sarafina was the wife of a king from another pride & Sarafina ran away to the pridelands due to starvation in the pride & joined Mufasa's pride already pregnant with Nala.
