Outlanders vs. Pridelanders

Ok. I was watching the lion king and the lion king 2 when I noticed the pridelanders have a nice round pink nose and the outlander have a black bumpy nose like scar. Did Scar's nose unspired the outlander design?

probably..i mean they were the followers of scar in the beggining...so it probably had everything to do with scar

@ kakashigirl -> What makes you say that? TLK2 wasn't as good as the first, but it was way better then WQ or WoC. @ Nessa -> Well, maybe it was meant to symbolize that they were just like Scar, evil and power hungry. So they were designed with a more, what word am i looking for, maybe, "intense" sort of look, more violent.

they have noses like scar because scar was evil and they are supposed to look evil aswell. and i guess its also a "dont judge a book by its cover" kinda thing we go along thinking theyre evil because they look look it then the story teaches us at the end just cus they look evil and like scar its whats inside that counts. is that right??

Dotty is one of the outlander lionesses with dots underneath her eyes. You'll see her in the scene where they chase Timon and Pumbaa.

And TLK2 was great, and so was Wolf Quest. I don't give two figs for WOC.

It probably did. Because Scar was consitered the leader of the Outlanders, so they probably used that to design the lionesses. And the Outlanders also happen to have the slim figure of Scar, so they probably used Scar as a reference when deciding what the lionesses (And Nuka) looked like.

They probably where trying to catch the darkness within the lionesses. Scar is probably the father of some of the lionesses too, hencing how they look similar.

i saw that. animators also made all the orange color lionesses and paler color than pride landers are. they made them look a little more untrusting this way i think.

Yeah but have you noticed in the end of lk2 when the outlanders join the pridelanders they all seem to have pink or red noses exept Kovu? Is it a technical fault?
