Nuka isn't scars son!

There's always people saying that Scar is nukas father, I am going to explain why i think this is not true:

Forgive me if i'm wrong, but i can't remember it saying ANYWHERE in the film, that Nuka (or Vitani!) is Scars offspring. Infact i don't remember it saying that Zira mated with Scar at all. She was probably just one of his followers and JUST one of his followers, nothing more. This also links to people who say Kovu is Ziras 'adopted son'. I think Zira is his real mother, because yet again, i state that it didnt say anything about him being adopted by ZIRA in the film, just that scar 'took him in'. What i think it means is that Scar thought to himself ' i need a heir, but i dont have a mate,i guess i'll just choose a cub from the pride to be my heir' (or something along the lines of that)And BAM that cub was kovu. Probably because he was the right age or something, or the last cub to be born in the pride.
ALSO if Nuka was Scars son he would just automatically be heir to Scars throne, no questions asked. So there would be no need to appoint another cub to the throne that isnt related to Scar at all. see my point?
Same goes for vitani. I dont think Scar is her dad either.

Anyway once again, i am sorry if i am wrong or have missed something from the movie, but this is just my opinion :)

I don't know guys...Nuka was ALWAYS complaining that 'Scar wasn't even kovu's father' and that he, nuka, should have been king. This leads me to believe that Nuka was indeed scar's 'rightful' heir, and this was why he was bitter over kovu being chosen.

Nuka and Vitani are Scar's cubs. They're both lean and scrawney like him and blah blah blah. But Kovu obviously isn't cuz he doesnt look like him at all and he's much more well built

ok ok zira had the 3 cubs with some other lion. then she met scar and they became mates but did not have a cub. so scar hand picked kovu to be the next leader. just because nuka is the oldest does not mean he has to be the next leader.:mad:

i just had a very obvious thought- What if Zira had kovu with an unknown lion then Scar needed a heir so he chose Kovu maybe zira ealy is Kovu's mother but he was chosen by scar

tbh if nuka was scars son because there was no leader qualities within him he could have disowned nuka and because vitani was a girl sh may not be an automatic heir look at the way henry the 8th was if you get my point?

Thank you for posting this article, mamella. It gets to a point that has not been brought up often but is very important to me. I agree with Kiara_fan. Sure Nuka grumbles about not being Scar's heir, but he only cites that he's older, stronger, and "smarter" than Kovu. That is, if Scar had to pick one of Zira's children as his heir (or any cub for that matter), Nuka should have been the best choice because he was the eldest. It's tradition, similar to how Mufasa was chosen to be king over Scar. Nuka holds a grudge against Kovu for being chosen to receive something Nuka was supposed to have. So Nuka thinks Kovu should not have been the Chosen One because there were other, older cubs at the time that would be better choices, namely himself. That's it. He says NOTHING about being Scar's real son. If he were Scar's real son, don't you think he'd make a big deal about it? I'm positive that Nuka would complain night and day that HE was the real heir, Scar's blood son. When Nuka says "Scar wasn't even his father," it's because he's jealous that Kovu got special treatment. If Kovu were Scar's son, he would have been the heir normally, and Nuka would have no right to complain. But since Kovu's NOT Scar's son, his selection as heir seems ungrounded and unfair to Nuka.
