I was watching The Lion King 2 when I  noticed that Nuka's mane was about the same size good for adelscent mane but as Kovu grew he got a better mane and he's younger. They both grew up in the outllands. Basically, shouldn't Nuka have had more of a mane?

I agree with SimbasGuard. But if Nuka took more care of himself, like washing himself, I think he would hae a thicker mane, wouldn't he?

i think wen kovu was a cub, zira looked after him better and groomed him more because he was chosen to be king wen he was older so she didnt really have time to do anything with nuka so he really didnt wash much.

Yeah, i think because Nuka was supposed to be the "lesser" lion if you like, that Disney gave him a less "kingly" look. otherwise it would take away from Kovu

Flea's are a great reason for Nuka's odd mane.But also,I think the movie hinted a lot that Nuka was related to Scar in some way.If that's true,then Nuka could've(somehow)gotten his mane from Scar.Because Scar's mane is a lot less thicker and more ruffled than anyone else's in the movie.I'm sure if Scar had fleas like Nuka their manes would look almost the same.Just saying.

Nuka has fleas, termites, rabies and every possible health problem that a stray dog would have. Some desieses cause fur loss, which could've happened to his mane.

I agree. I've always wondered about that.. But toward the end of the movie Nuka's mane is a little thicker. If he could of cepted it well groomed, maybe it would of been thicker than Kovu's.
