The third video game based on The lion king.

There were two versions of this game released : one on the Playstation, and another one on the Game Boy Color. Obviously, considering the technical differences, they are entirely different.


Simba's Mighty Adventure (Game Boy Color) : A better version of the Lion King game boy game. The game has colors (of course), it is better animated, and it includes levels based on Simba's Pride. The drawback is that there are only two musics in the whole game...But apart from that, it's good. If you have a Game Boy Advance (first version or SP, not micro or DS as they are not compatible), this might be a game to get for cheap.






Simba's Mighty Adventure (Playstation 1) : The last real Lion King game that was released. It is a platformer just like the others, but this time it's in 3D. Although, the gameplay is still 2D as you're forced to 'follow a line'. It's a good game, but less than the first Lion King game on the Genesis/Super nes. It has way too much collecting (you can only complete a level is you collected enough items), it is really repetetitive and classical. It includes videos from the film, and half of the levels are based on Simba's Pride - although you only get to play as Simba and not Kiara or Kovy. But it's still one to get if you're a Lion king fan, as there is no Playstation 2 official Lion King game, at least not yet.
