Yea I geuss it is true but did u ever noticed that in the first beginning of the 2nd movie that Kovu was evil and was beginning to become good, He didn't really complete his goal of scar's revenge because he loved Kiara. So I think there was a good and evil side of Kovu.

Zira made Kovu look Evil , by the attack when Nuka died, but he wasnt , because he loved Kiara , and he said to himself "Zira had a plot, and i was part of it but i dont wanna be, because, its because i love you" because he was rehearsing what to say to her, so she didnt think he was evil just like his mother had made him look evil. |
