See how Vitani's apperance changes throughout Simba's Pride.
Vitani (Mona) :
All the way through Simba's Pride, adult Vitani changes her designs. Most of them are just mix up in characters sheets with the animation deparment.
Here's cub Vitani:
She has pointed cheeks, no earmarks and no whisker spots.
#1 Adult Vitani Design:
The most frequently seen adult Vitani. She now has rounded cheeks, earmarks, whisker spots and bushy eye brows. How cute little cubbie Vitani can changes so much, I don't know.
#2 Adult Vitani Design:
Same as the one above, but with pointed cheeks instead of rounded ones. This shot of Vitani is only seen for a second, and is probably a mix up with the chaarcter sheets (her cubs one, instead of the adult one). The next sequence after Vitani walking into the muddy river, she has pointed cheeks, so again, I think this Vitani was a mistake.
#3 Adult Vitani Design
Another design of Vitani which is supposed to be a mistake. This one has no earmarks (but the lines where they should be are there), whisker spots, rounded cheeks and bushy eye brow. Some people could say that her eyes are also red, but as va-kasi says, it's probably the haze of the Elephant Graveyard.

I think it was mainly because she wasn't a cub anymore. But I noticed when they screwed up at the one part. That drove me nuts!! |

i love vitani but i would've prefered if they stuck closer to her cub design,with smoother eyebrows without the whisker marks...thanks for pointing them out! good article! |

Vitani is beautiful and cute as a cub, but as an adult, lots of mistakes and changes and she's a little... ugly.
