One of the most controversial questions in 'The Lion King' and it's sequels is who is Nala's father. Her mother is Sarafina (her name is mentioned in the credits), but her father is unknown. So I'm going to introduce three of the characters who can be Nala's father.

Mufasa

This is one of the three candidates suggested by fans to be Nala's father. His first appearance is in the first movie. The fans who suggest that Mufasa is Nala's father say that,  because Mufasa is the king, and so is the only lion who can mate with the lionesses of the pride, and as a consequence have cubs with them. But, if Mufasa is really Nala's father, she would be Simba's half-sister, and that would make the fact of Simba and Nala being betrothed a little bit 'strange':

Scar

Scar is the second candidate suggested by fans to be Nala's father. And surprisingly, a somehow big portion of fans believes that.theory. They say that because Scar is the only adult lion in the pride besides Mufasa, and as a consequence would be the only one left to be Nala's father, and the fans also believe that because Scar didn't kill Nala when he became king, like he would do in real life if Nala wasn't his daughter. But it's a little bit hard to believe that Sarafina would let Scar mate with her (at least to me).

Leo

This is a lion that appears in a book of 'The Lion King: Six New Adventures' series titled 'Vulture Shock'. The book can be seen here:

Because the colours of Leo and Nala are somewhat simmilar, some fans suggested that Leo might be Nala's father. But there's a small part that makes that theory a little bit unlikely. Leo is shown in the book as a self-centered lion, who wants to have 'Simba's family tree'. If he was really Nala's father, probably he would be telling all the time to everyone that his daughter is the queen (however, he may not to do that because Sarafina or Nala asked him to not to do it).

I think Scar personaly. I mean it could be mufasa considering he is the king but if you look at the so called "cast" pic with everyone in it Sarafina and Scar are looking at each other.

I reckon Leo because Nala's got a bit of an attitude and so does Leo. I used to think it was Scar but after reading through that I reckon it's Leo, also the colouring is similar.
