Is Timon smarter than Pumbaa or is Pumbaa smarter than Timon?

Ok. We all love Timon and Pumbaa but who is smarter. Pumbaa is always suggesting ideas and then Timon hey wait i got an idea.Who comes up with the idea*(s)? Whose idea was it really to rescues Simba, Timon or Pumbaa> Pumbaa may of suggested it first but was Timon listening? Sarcasism is real easy for Timon to understand but Pumbaa often times gets confused when he hears sarcastic phases. Such as when Timon say 'gosh, he looks blue.' and then Pumbaa says ' I say brownish gold.' Pumbaa is a more logical thinker like when they were staring out the stars. He knew what they were but Timon thought they were fireflies. Conclusion Timon and Pumbaa can be both smart and dumb at times. Ones things for sure they both love bugs.

pumbaa is smater than timon because in most movies when pumbaa has an idea and timon doesnt he then says the same idea as what pumbaa has just. said Timon is the funny and pumbaa is the smart

Timon is the smartest. Timon thinks so, and Pumbaa thinks so. Pumbaa is smart too, but even he admits that he is amased at how smart his little friend is. There are things that Timon solves that simply impress Pumbaa all the time. To quote Pumbaa: "Oooh, I should've never questioned your brainy brain, Timon!"

Pumbaa and Timon seem to have come to a silent agreement that Timon is the smarter one; he sure acts like a wise guy, and Pumbaa acts like a simpleton. However, Pumbaa is a lot more insightful than Timon is (though he doesn't realize it) and Timon just takes Pumbaa's bright ideas and pretends he was the person who thought of then. Pumbaa's definitely smarter.

I think that they are both intelligent in different ways. Timon is really the problem solver and the one that has the advantage when it comes to planning things clearly, while Pumbaa is the more logical one, or the one who appears to have done his homework. In other words, Pumbaa is book smart, and Timon has quickwits.
