A large amount of confusion has erupted over who is who's family member... this article states what I think.

Lilt :



Simba is the son of the lion King, Mufasa. His uncle is the villian Scar. Simba mates with his best friend, Nala. Abracadabra Kiara. Kiara meets Kovu, who is in NO way related to the mound lions. Zira is his adopted mother, yet she had mated with Scar, and Nuka was their son. Vitani, on the other hand, is the same age as Kovu and Kiara. BUT, if Kovu was an orphan, Vitani CAN NOT be related. Was she a lone cub? Or was she orphaned as well?

This is my opinion in 'Who is what.' I hope it helps us Lion King fans decide where evryone belongs!

Since when was Kovu orphaned? And we don't know if Zira ever mated with Scar and had a cub. All we know is that Nuka is the oldest, and Kovu and Vitani are twins. Well, i think they're twins. They're the same age. I know that Zira says "Kovu was the last born before you exiled us to the outlands..." but he was prolly just the second born twin or something.

zira had all three cubs with another lion.then zira and scar became mates but did not have cub together.so scar hand picked kovu to be the next leader of the outlanders a.k.a adpoted kovu just because nuka is the oldest does not mean he has to be the leader:icon308:

NO! ok. nuka and vitani are REAL siblings from zira and scar. but, scar didn't want nuka to be king, and didn't want vitani to be queen, so, he just found kovu, and chose him to be the heir. so, they adopted kovu. OK?!?

Possibly, you may all be correct... no one knows, see? No one of us actually KNOWS for SURE what happened, they never say in the film. I was only stating my opinion, if you read the article correctly. (Mostly the problem is within the last posts). But as I said - anyone could be right!
