i think i know who is nalas father due to some research

ok, ive been reading about lions and i think i figured out some clues why SCAR yes SCAR might be nalas father, first in the lion king nala has green eyes,just like scar, second, if nala had been mufasa daughter, then why did she marry simba? they would have been half  brothers and that cannot happen, why would the king and queen(simbas parents) arrange a marrange with their half daugter, it makes no sence, but it would have been diferent if she was scars daughter, she would have had some right to be queen, and last but not least, lions who take over other lions kill the last lions cubs, so that meant that scar would have had to kill nala after mufasa died, like he tried with simba, so that proves something, thats why i think that nala is scars daughter, and please be nice, this is my first article, thanks.

In my own little world, Scar was adopted by Uru, Mufasa and Scar's mother. So that would make it pefectly fine for Scar to mate with Sarafina :). Yeah, I have big imagination.

Remeber, these are lions, not people. It wouldn'tmatter to them if nala was mufasa's daughter. and maybe nala inherrited her eyes from sarafina. and you can tell that nala is not scar's daughter because she looks nothing like him. she's strong and well built with a nice pelt. scar is scrawny and weak-statured and matted. no similarites.

Scar didn't try to kill simba because he wasn't his cub, he tried to kill simba because once mufasa was dead, simba was the only think between him and the throne. and he probably didn't try to kill nala because he wanted to have as many followers as possible

Not only are they lions, but Simba and Nala are royalty. It happens very often that members of the same family marry to "preserve the bloodline". And towards Akilah's post, Scar being scrawny and having matted hair is a personal quirk, not a genetic one. He simply doesn't eat as much as he should (probably because he's the lower-ranking lion) and he doesn't groom enough. But also in the Broadway musical, Scar does try to make Nala his queen, so I'm not sure what family ties the two have. It's very possible that the original film makers intended for Scar to be Nala's father.

well i thought that since scar took over then he would have had to kill all of mufasa cubs, but he didnt kill nala, so that meant that nala had to be his daughter, he had no reason to kill her, he would have killed her as well if she was another lions cub other than mufasa, because lions kill cubs that are not their own:red:

well its also very obious that shes scars cub because there were no other male lions than scar and mufasa, other lions are not allowed to mate with the lionesses, and anyways nala looks alot like sarafina, so we will never know how her dad looked like :cry:

I seriously doubt that Scar is Nala's father. I think that Nala's father ran off after mating with Sarafina, or Scar killed him;) But Scar can't be Nala's father because then Simba and Nala would be cousins and that would be gross, and besides, Nala and Scar have ABSOLOUTELY no genes similar, in looks or behaviour. So, I think Nala's father DEFINETELY isn't Scar

I'm sorry, but there are some problems with your theroy. These are them... 1. Sarafinie (Nala's mothrer) didn't seem interested in Scar. 2. Remeber, Scar is Simba's uncle, so then he and Nala would be cousins, and wouldn't marry. 3. Sarafinie does have greenish eyes, I think.

I dont see these problems, because: 1. There is no need that a relatinship which brings out a child has to be very close. (remeber we are still talking about Lions!) Perhaps Sarafina WAS interested in Scar but now sche ins't anymore. 2. Is it really a fact that cousins can't have children? Brothers and sisters... of course. but cousins? 3. The eye-colours in TLK are a very different problem ^^

well actually i dont think scar is nalas father. From past examination of the film, my studies have come to the conclusion that zazu and timon are actually nalas biological parents. I know you think this is crazy, but TRUST ME. If you pay attention to all the sublimital messages in the movie, you'll be sure to understand.

I have worked it all out (i think) Right nala is Mufasas child because, as other people mentioned lions interbreed =o And Scar is not Nalas father because he trys to get her to be his queen (more in the broadway version)

i dont beleave that nalas father was a rogue because in a real pride only males within a pride are allowed to produce offspring.if a rouge male mated with sarafina scar or mufasa would have killed her cub.so nalas father must be scar because in the film there was no sign that there were other males and if simba and nala were brother and sister they would be able to mate.and nala would be known as a princess
