Some things answered I guess...

For those who dont go on the forums, i was told this would make a good article (by a friend)

There are ALOT of un-answered questions about the differences and
un-logic answerers to questions about TLK 1+2. Well, there was a big
time difference between TLK 1 and 2, you can SEE these changes:

Simba is more rounded and older looking with a larger mane

Nala has faded abit on her fur (if you noticed) she generely looks older

Kiara is shown as an OLDER looking cub at her ceremony, where as Simba looked quite young

Timon and Pumbaa's colour's have darkened , and they look generely older

The pride looks older

the outlands are more, 'dead'

And there are characters we've never seen or heard of before

am a BIG fan on TLK2 and i still baffled by some of the un-answered
questions , like, who's Kovu's father? people answering POINTLESS
QUESTIONS like, 'Is scar kovu's father?'

Well of course NOT! It even
says so in the movie, then people get in a huff because they realise
its not and they go off annoyed, i mean, has Simba got a cousin, who
CARES! Was Kopa real? errgg..no, if he wasnt in the movie, he's not
real! who cares if Nala was supposed to have a brother, yeah she was
SUPPOSED to, but Disney cut that out, so no, she doesn't have a brother.

Simple questions with simple answers can turn into stupid topics, with pointless questions! Like

Is Scar Nala's father?

Don't
you think there would have been SOME indication, and NO he's not,
because in Broadway, Scar told Nala to marry him! That would just be
sick, him marrying his own daughter!

I mean, come on, think about these things! they do HAVE simple answers!

Another question:

Where is Zira from and who's Kovu's, Vitani's and Nuka's father?

Zira
obviously was from a group of lions who supported Scar , she wanted
some heirs, she DIDN'T have cubs with Scar, so she probably had them
with someone else, or found them abandoned. But either way, Scar chose
them. But Nuka,on the other hand, COULD be scars son, look at what he
says:

'Scar wasnt even HIS father, he just took HIM in'

No, Scar wasn't KOVU'S father, but he could have POSSIBLY been Nuka's.

You see what I mean now?

And
in this space of time, Zira met scar, Scar wanted some cubs to take
over even though Simba was King, so he/she found some/Had one and there
we go! Yes, if Scar did die in the fire, then Zira maybe knew scar so
well she chose them for him! its not THAT big a deal

Pointless questions.

You see there is a great space of time between TLK 1 and TLK 2 , so dont fret about simple things that can be answered.

Good article except the bit about kopa. In the films he didn't exist, but in some books he did. They were legit disney books and not just fanfics. TLK6NA is a partial alternative to TLKII. So yes, kopa is real. What we have to remeber is that these stories are fiction, so we shouldn't get too het up on them

i knew they wernt fanfics but people dont know if the books were canon or not, and most people go by the movies, so to them (and me) he doesnt exist

ok first offi would like to say good article...i had been feeling the exact sae way for a long time but never took the time to write an article about it. Second off i would like to say that as far as kopa is concerned...the people of Walt Disney OBVIOUSLY made those books before the second movie was even made...but when they made the movie they intentionally cut kopa out and put kiara in because they wanted the movie to have a twist...they obviously did not want kopa in the movie...so yea kopa existed...but walt disney did not want him to int he movie. I also notice that it looked like a big time difference in the two movies but you have to think about this too...they waited a long time period to even make a second movie so probably what was going on in there as far as the color was concerned, was that they were probably just having a hard time matching it up with the original lion king...alot had changed since then...but as far as simbas body-type...it was probably just the position he was standing in because in the second pic he looks almost exactly the same. but one more thing that i thought about was that the question that they ask are not pointless...like who is kovu's father...everyones curious...i mean yea its obvious that it's not scar...but they dont say who it is...i would like to know self...shoot. and actually just to inform you both vitani and nika are scars kin...it is only kovu who is disputed. and one more thing as far as scar dieing in the fire...he did...kovu even gets depressed in the TLK2 aout it when he looks into the river while hes with kiara

I just say to myself that the reason why Simba and Nala look different in the second movie is because they are older... I think that would make sense because if you watch TLK 1 1/2, they look normal and young like in the 1st one.

Good article for those who are young! One thing about Kopa...I know it's already been said but Kopa is real though he only existed in The Lion King: Six New Adventure which was a series of 6 short books Disney made after the release of The Lion King. As far as I know they were meant as a follow-on from the end of TLK, referring to the cub at the end of the movie as Kopa though the makers of The Lion King: Simba's Pride created Kiara instead of carrying on with Kopa...why? I have no idea...I would've quite liked Kopa to have been in TLK 2 but fans have created many fanfics on him now and a popular theory is that Kopa was killed somehow though none of it's official. A question for Disney maybe?

Good artical, exept that the reason why the characters look older is only because there were different artists for the second film. Also, don't you look different when you age? I'm sure they aged quite a bit, resembling their different looks. Also, Kopa DID exist. He wasn't in the films, true, but he was in the book series.
