                   I believe that Zira is her mother Scar is her father andNuka is her brother. and Kovu is her half brother. Vetani looks almost exactly like Zira when she is older. I think Scar is Nuka's father because why would he say 'Kovu, Kovu, Kovu, he wasn't even Scars son he just took him in.' Why would Nuka say that if he wasn't Scar's son. Scar must've thought that Nuka wasn't good enough to be future leader so he chose Kovu even though it wasn't his son because for his own reasons he thought Kovu would be a good leader. I read somewhere and no it was not wikipedia that zira was Scar's queen before he died. Vetani wasn't chosen as a queen because Scar probulaly thought that lioness's shouldn't be queens. Kovu's father is unknown to everyone. All those rumors about Nala being the mother of Vetani are lies that everyone wants to be true. I know for a fact that Disney would not make the movie that complicated. They would have mentioned such a thing if it was true. Also I believe that Scar was Nala's father it would be wrong if she mated with him and had Vetani. Nala just did not look anything like her father and exactly like her mother. I mean except for the eye color Vetani looks exactly like her mother and seriously I have a friend whos family has all brown eyes and brown hair. And she is blonde with blue eyes. And one of her aunts is blonde with blue eyes like her. Probulaly one of Scar's or Zira's family memebers had blue eyes. And Nuka is the oldest, vetani is in the middle, and Kovu is the youngest. If you look Vetani as the same eyes marks around her eyes as Scar and Zira. Look at Vetani compared to Scar and Zira.                               


                   
                       
              Vitani and Zira look almost exactly alike. And Scar has some similarties to Vetani too. I know everyone says different, but they really do look alike.

When Nuka is talking about Kovu he mentions that, "Scar just brought him in." I have to go back and watch the movie and see if Zira actually calls Kovu her son. Everyone knows that Scar isn't Kovu's father... but that one line made me a little confused. I guess he may have meant that Scar just took him in and treated him as though he were his son, even if he belonged to Zira... I hope that made sense... its just something I was confused about.

you are right and nala is the daughter of scar bec i read a book it said the sarafina (nala's mother) somehow had a crush on taka (scar) he tried to seduce her again but she said you changed so i think she gave birth to nala

I think that she is Kovu's sister and Zira's cub, Nuka's half-sister. Nuka is Zira and Scar's son. Here's some evidence: "Haven't you met my son Kovu? He was hand chosen by Scar, to follow in his pawprints and become king" As for Vitani I think she says: "No mother, Kovu's right... enough!" And I dunno whether Scar is her father or if she has the same father as Kovu but she's extremely close in age with Kovu and looks nothing like Scar, even though Kovu looks like Scar he's NOT get that through your heads people! So yeah I think you're right except I think Vitani's more closely related to Kovu.

I think I'm one of the few holders of this opinion, but here it is: what if NONE of Zira's children were Scar's children? I think that Nuka only says, "Scar wasn't even his father, he just took him in," because (childless) Scar picked Kovu as his heir seemingly arbitrarily, and Nuka just thinks that he would have been a better candidate than Kovu since he's "the oldest, the strongest, the smartest." He never says ANYTHING about being Scar's son. And wouldn't he refer to Scar as "Dad" or "my father" or something? Anyway, that's my take on Nuka's jealousy.

Hm... This all is confused but I know just that Scar is Nala's father and I know that Kovu isn't he's son. I think that Nuka and Vitani founded him in Pride Land and than Zira cam and gav him name Kovu and adopted him. That's what I think. I'm sorry my English is bad...

Vitani, Kovu and Nuka are all Zira's children paws down. That much is definite and proved almost a million times over, in the movies and outside them. Scar's relationships are unknown, but Kovu is definatly not his child since Scar was killed by the Hyena's BEFORE Kovu was even born. Because Kovu and Kiara are the same age *Or close enough* and Scar was killed way before Kiara or even the unknown Kopa was born. Disney has left many holes, and personally I hope movie makers after them learn from their mistakes so flaming and discussions like these don't sprout up quiet as often in the near future. Scar is possibly Nala's father, but that is unknown. She is absolutely Sarafina's child, that much is known. Although highly possible, that would also make Nala cousin's with Simba and therefore very wrong for them to later on be mates. And the blue eyes thing doesn't have to come from any family member. Almost 90% of all babies, human or animal are born with blue eyes and it is highly possible her eye pigment just stayed the same.
